"The Gardener"
-min_edited.jpg)

In today’s age, more and more people are turning to, and reconnecting with nature. At home gardening is becoming more popular, and people are growing more conscious of the environment. This collection is inspired by that push towards sustainable living, and self sufficiency. These silhouettes also take inspiration from the 60s, when, similar to today, social change, and civil rights movements were booming, and an iconic counterculture of self expression came to be. This collection celebrates self sufficiency, and hand craft, with natural dyes, embroidery, and organic fabrics, for the “farmers market chic” customer, who’s eco-conscious, and loves the outdoors.
Look 1- "The Gardener"

This look consists of a one piece jumpsuit with large pockets, belt loops for optional close, or loose fit, and an embroidered collar.
Material is cotton poplin hand dyed in turmeric, and eco-printed with fall leaves to create a unique, one of a kind textile.
Embroidery at the collar is hand done, and extends past the neckline to highlight leaf patterns.

The back features a keyhole opening at the neck, closed with a sunflower button.

Look 2- "Seedling"

This two piece look features a long sleeved, cropped top, paired with an earthy green pair of pants.
The top includes flared sleeves inspired by the fashion of the late 60s and 70s, and ties together at the center front.
The material is a cotton poplin, eco-printed with fall leaves for a gorgeous natural pattern. The ends of the sleeves are also hand dyed with avocado skins.

The green tencel twill pants are soft, and comfortable, with flair, and ruffles at the ends for style and movement. The waistband features a paper bag waist, with elastic to match the gathered hem.
A pop of hand done embroidery along the left leg shows a collection of grape hyacinths, a classic (and my favorite) spring flower.

Look 3- "Sprout"

This fun, summer look features a yellow, embroidered top, with a pair of striped,

The top features a unique combination of eco-printing, and natural dye, where the leaves were soaked in a turmeric dye bath before being eco-printed onto the fabric.
Ties at the nack, and back secure this top, while a metal ring secures the center front.
Embroidered sunflowers give this top a pop of summer
The pants are made from an organic jersey fabric. The stretch makes them comfortable, and moveable.
The stripes were achieved by hand dyeing this piece in coffee.

Look 4- "Spring"

This fluttery, fairy dress features a double layered skirt, long sleeves, and an off the shoulder look.
The top is hand embellished with sprouting flowers that seem to grow from the skirt. Elastic around the top ties the paper-bag style back in, and is also used at the waist, and cuffs for a comfortable fit. Paired with a double layered, A-line skirt, with ruffles at the hem gives this piece a sweet silhouette.
Look 5- "Full Bloom"

This final piece represents the beauty of nature in full bloom. The two piece ensemble features a long sleeved, corset top, and an elegant, flowy maxi skirt.
The top is hand embellished with blooming flowers that match the elegant, transparent sleeves. The sweetheart neckline, and corset back give this look a flower, princes, vibe.
The skirt matches with the soft, green tencel twill fabric, along with a panel of the sheer floral fabric, and ruffles at the hem to tie together this elegant final piece.
