Anne Fontaine

During my Sophomore year at Massart we had a project with designer, Anne Fontaine, to design, and create a piece inspired by her style. My piece is fun, and feminine, featuring a peplum, princess line seams, and a dramatic flair with an open back.
Non-Textile

The Non-Textile challenge was to create a piece using anything but textile. For mine I created this two piece, skirt and top ensemble using wigs. I cut up each wig so it would lay flat, and then stitched them together to create this look. The back is secured with hook and eyes, and the straps are made from a braided purple wig.
Women's Wear

My women's wear piece was inspired by a beautiful blooming field of sunflowers. The two piece ensemble features an off the shoulder top, with long sleeves, and a peplum waist. Paired with an overall-style skirt with hand embroidered pockets, and a hoop in the hem to create a unique silhouette.
